Abstract: The present invention relates to a tapped density testing apparatus (100) and a method (200) for automated powder density analysis. The tapped density testing apparatus (100) comprises a graduated sample cylinder (104), a tapping platform (110), a mechanical drive assembly (112), at least one strain-gauge load cell module (114), an electronics module (118), an IoT communication module (120), and a display unit (122). The mechanical drive assembly (112) generates successive tapping impacts to compact a powder sample (106), while the strain-gauge load cell module (114) continuously measures force variations during tapping. The electronics module (118) processes acquired signals to generate compaction signatures and determine bulk density, tapped density, Hausner Ratio, Carr Compressibility Index, and flowability characteristics in real time. The tapped density testing apparatus (100) further enables cloud-based data transmission, real-time monitoring, automated analysis, and adaptive modification of tapping parameters based on compaction behaviour of the powder sample (106).
