MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641025420 A) filed by Naga Prudhvi Raj Vattikuti; and Naga Prudhvi Raj V on March 04, 2026, for A Temperature And Hardness Controlled Ice Cream Production System With Integrated Thermo-Mechanical Closed Loop Control.

Inventors include Naga Prudhvi Raj V; G Geetha; and N Swathi.

The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a temperature and hardness controlled ice cream production system incorporating an integrated thermomechanical closed-loop control architecture. The system comprises an insulated mixing chamber, evaporator coil, compressor-based refrigeration unit, temperature sensor, load-cell-based penetration hardness probe, agitator assembly, and a microcontroller. The microcontroller modulates compressor operation based on temperature feedback and terminates freezing upon detection of a predefined hardness threshold derived from penetration force measurement. The system optionally compensates for compressor efficiency variation and dynamically adjusts agitator speed to enhance heat transfer. The invention improves product consistency, reduces manual intervention, and enhances energy efficiency. The system is suitable for laboratory-scale, small-scale industrial, and educational applications.
