Abstract: The present invention provides a temperature-sensitive inhaler cap for real-time monitoring of drug storage conditions in respiratory delivery devices. The cap comprises a medical-grade polymer body integrated with a thermochromic indicator. The indicator is configured to undergo a visible color change from a first state to a second state when the inhaler is exposed to temperatures outside a predefined safe storage range, typically below 5°C or above 35°C. The system ensures the stability of drug formulations in Metered Dose Inhalers (MDI) and Dry Powder Inhalers (DPI) by providing an immediate visual alert to patients. The invention further relates to a process for manufacturing the cap, offering a cost-effective solution for enhancing patient compliance and medication safety in asthma and COPD management.
