Abstract: A THERMOCOUPLE ASSEMBLY AND A LIME KILN WITH THE THERMOCOUPLE ASSEMBLY Present disclosure discloses a thermocouple assembly (100). The assembly includes an outer thermowell (102) configured to be positioned within a portion of a structure (101) and an inner thermowell (104) disposed within the outer thermowell (102). The inner thermowell (104) is suspended inside the outer thermowell (102). The assembly includes a thermocouple (108) positioned in the inner thermowell (104), such that one portion (108a) of the thermocouple (108) resides in the inner thermowell (104) and another portion (108b), opposite to the one portion (108a) extends out of the inner thermowell (104). The thermocouple (108) determines temperature of the structure (101). This configuration of the outer thermowell enables easy removal of the thermocouple from the structure without any damage, thereby reducing downtime. Further, the inner thermowell is protected from corrosion and high temperatures inside the structure thereby improving life of the assembly. Fig. 3 is the representative figure.
