Abstract: The present invention relates to a three-dimensionally printed patient-specific multi-compartment drug delivery system comprising a printed dosage body having a plurality of drug-containing compartments, isolating walls, release-controlling barrier regions, programmable release pathways, and an embedded dose verification feature. The system is configured to convert a patient-specific digital prescription profile into a locked printable geometry defining drug compartment volume, compartment location, barrier thickness, release channel dimensions, and verification structure. The programmable release pathways regulate drug release by physical geometry including channel length, channel diameter, porosity, tortuosity, rupture membranes, dissolvable plugs, and gradient-density regions. The isolating walls reduce premature interaction between incompatible active pharmaceutical ingredients, while the embedded verification feature enables confirmation of dose identity, printed architecture, and release configuration before dispensing. The invention provides customized drug delivery, improved dose accuracy, reduced medication burden, controlled release performance, and enhanced safety in personalized pharmaceutical manufacturing.
