Abstract: A timing gear-train housing [200] for an engine of an agricultural vehicle, comprising a base housing member [202] to hold and support a gear-train [204] and a cover housing member [206] secured with the base housing member [202]. The cover housing member [206] includes an outer surface [208] defining a plurality of accessory mounting portions [210] wherein each of the plurality of accessory mounting portions [210] is adapted to hold and support a plurality of accessories of the engine. The plurality of accessory mounting portions [210], eliminate the need to provide dedicated accessory mounting portions in a cylinder head crankcase, an engine block, and an engine bay during casting, thus significantly bring production costs down and improving the noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels for the timing gear-train housing [200].
