Abstract: ABSTRACT A USER ALERT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A VEHICLE MANEUVER INDICATION A user alert system and method are disclosed. The method includes detecting an ON- state of a vehicle indicator and [J(20.1]initiating a timer upon detection of the ON-state. The method includes comparing a value of the timer with a predefined timer threshold value to determine if the vehicle indicator has remained in the ON-state longer than expected, determining completion of a vehicle maneuver based on one or more vehicle data and generating a visual alert for a user through one or more vehicle mirrors indicating that the vehicle--indicator remains in the ON-state when the vehicle maneuver is determined to be completed, and the vehicle-indicator ON requirement is fulfilled. Another method includes detecting an OFF state of the vehicle indicator, generating a visual and/or an audio alert through one or more vehicle mirrors’ for the user about the detected OFF state when the vehicle is approaching an upcoming turn.
