MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641066585 A) filed by Nandha Engineering College on May 27, 2026, for A User Centric Machine Learning Framework For Cyber Security Operations Center.

Inventors include I Jaan Brigith; R R Sreenivasan; and N Zahira Jahan.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a User-Centric Machine Learning Framework for Cyber Security Operations Center designed for intelligent endpoint-level cybersecurity monitoring and real-time cyber thi-eat detection. The system integrates machine learning algorithms, behaviour-based anomaly detection, file integrity monitoring, and centralized SOC visualization for identifying malicious activities and abnormal system behaviour. The invention continuously monitors file activities, process execution patterns, CPU usage, memory utilization, and system resource behaviour to detect both known and unknown cyber threats. File integrity verification is achieved using SHA-256 cryptographic hashing techniques, while Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Isolation Forest algorithms are utilized for thi-eat classification and anomaly detection. The framework further provides a web-based Security Operations Center dashboard capable of displaying security alerts, event logs, anomaly reports, and threat analysis results in real time. The proposed invention is lightweight, scalable, and suitable for personal systems, educational cybersecurity environments, and small scale organizations.
