Abstract: A user equipment, UE, comprising: at least one processor and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the UE to perform at least: receiving configuration information associated with L 1/L2 triggered mobility, L TM; estimating timing advance, TA, information for a candidate access node; determining that an L TM condition or conditions for the 10 candidate access node has been met; determining whether valid TA information, obtained from a network, is available or unavailable for the candidate access node; in dependence upon a determination that valid TA information, obtained from the network, is available for the candidate access node, triggering random-access channel, RACH,-Iess LTM towards the candidate node using the TA information 15 obtained from the network; and in dependence upon a determination that valid TA information, obtained from the network, is unavailable for the candidate access node, triggering RACH-Iess L TM towards the candidate node using the estimated TA information.
