Abstract: ABSTRACT A Utility-Frequency Wireless Power Transmission System Using Laminated Magnetic Core Structures The present invention relates to a wireless electrical energy transmission system operating at utility frequency. The system comprises a transmitting assembly and a receiving assembly having respective windings wound over laminated magnetic core structures. A compensation arrangement is provided to maintain resonance, and a conditioning arrangement is connected to the receiving assembly for output regulation. The laminated magnetic core structures enhance magnetic coupling between the assemblies. The system enables transfer of electrical energy across an intervening region including different media and under positional variation. The arrangement improves magnetic flux linkage and reduces losses associated with conventional structures. The invention provides a structurally efficient configuration for energy transfer without direct electrical contact.
