Abstract: A VEHICLE SEAT BACKREST RECLINER DEVICE WITH A SELF-COMPENSATING STRIKER ASSEMBLY A vehicle seat backrest recliner device (100) comprising a striker assembly (102) and a movable support member (110). The striker assembly (102) comprises a striker (104) and a striker bracket (106), and the movable support member (110) comprises an adapter plate (112) and an elastic compensation element (114). A retaining member (116) connects the movable support member (110) with the striker assembly (102) through corresponding through-holes using a fastening element (118). A drive unit (134) actuates a lead screw (138) coupled to the striker bracket (106) to move the striker assembly (102) along a guide slot (128). The elastic compensation element (114) elastically deforms to compensate assembly interference resulting from divergence between a first movement path (P1) of a backrest latch and a second movement path (P2) of the striker assembly (102). The elastic compensation element (114) stores elastic energy during deformation and restores the striker assembly (102) toward a rest position after actuation.
