The vehicle (100) further comprises a control unit (150). The control unit (150) is in communication with the one or more energy storage units (110) and the charging socket (140). The control unit (150) is configured to determine an electric circuit condition when the charging connector (12) of the power source (10) being connected to the charging socket (140) and generate an output signal to disable operation of one or more motors (130) of the vehicle (100) when the electric circuit condition being determined to be a closed condition.
