The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A VISIBLY-TRANSPARENT AND HEAT-INSULATED COATING AND A METHOD FOR ITS PREPARATION The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a visibly transparent and heat-insulated film coating on a substrate. The method provides a polycrystalline film coating exhibiting high visible light transmittance while effectively reducing infrared (IR) transmittance. The film coating has a phase transition temperature in the range of 31 °C to 33 °C, thereby enabling a semiconductor-to-metal phase transition at or near ambient temperature. Upon heating above the phase transition temperature, the film coating effectively blocks infrared radiation while substantially maintaining visible transparency. Accordingly, the film coating is particularly suitable for use in smart windows, smart glazing, and other energy-efficient transparent device applications.
