Abstract: ABSTRACT A WEARABLE ECG PATCH FOR REAL TIME ARRYTHMIA DETECTION A wearable electrocardiogram patch for ambulatory cardiac monitoring is disclosed. The patch addresses limitations of conventional systems that rely on external computing devices for arrhythmia analysis. The patch comprises electrocardiogram electrodes configured to acquire electrocardiogram signals from a wearer, an analog front-end circuit configured to condition the acquired signals, and an analog-to-digital converter configured to convert the conditioned signals to digital electrocardiogram data. An embedded microcontroller performs segmentation of the digital electrocardiogram data to produce segmented data corresponding to individual cardiac cycles, executes a quantized autoencoder machine learning model comprising an encoder portion, a latent space, and a decoder portion to generate a reconstruction error output, and compares the reconstruction error output against a classification threshold to detect an arrhythmia condition.
