Abstract: A WEARABLE EXTENDED-REALITY DEVICE FOR CONTEXT-AWARE INTERPRETATION OF INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION SEALS AND SEALINGS A wearable extended-reality device (100) for context-aware interpretation of Indus valley civilization seals, sealings and inscribed tablets comprises an image- acquisition assembly (104), a marker-recognition component (112), a processing unit (114), local corpus memory (116), an artefact identification engine (118), a retrieval engine (120), an on-device language-model engine (124), a decipherment-status validator (126) and an extended-reality compositor (128). Image and marker information identify a viewed artefact (200) with a recognition confidence value. A curated record indexed by the artefact identifier is retrieved locally and used to generate a grounded candidate explanation. Before presentation, the validator checks the candidate explanation against stored evidentiary status and prevents unsupported definitive translations of undeciphered signs. Validated explanations and optional comparative motif information are spatially anchored relative to the viewed artefact. Core interpretation functions operate without network connectivity.
