Abstract: ABSTRACT A WEIR SKIMMER OF INTEGRATED OSR SYSTEM The present invention provides an integrated containment and skimming system is disclosed for recovering oil from water surfaces. The system employs a inflatable boom to direct oil laden water into a skimmer having two fluid chambers. An upper chamber captures oil enriched fluid for pumping through a hydraulic connection to a storage barge, while a lower chamber discharges mostly water back into the environment. The skimmer further comprises an integrated air supply, a quick connect boom attachment, skids for easy handling, and ballast elements for stability. This design enables higher speed containment and efficient separation of oil, significantly improving response time and recovery rates in spill scenarios.
