Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless gas leak detection and wearable alert system comprising a main unit and a wearable band unit for real-time gas safety monitoring and immediate mitigation. The main unit includes an MQ2 gas sensor, an Arduino Uno microcontroller, a servo-operated gas shutoff valve, LEDs, a buzzer, and a wireless transmitter. The microcontroller performs threshold detection and control logic and activates local alarms and automatic gas valve closure when hazardous gas concentration exceeds a predefined threshold. The wireless transmitter sends a coded alert signal to the wearable band unit comprising an Arduino Nano microcontroller, an RF receiver, a vibration motor, LED, and buzzer. The vibration motor is driven through an NPN transistor with a flyback diode for protected operation. The wearable unit uses a separate battery for independent operation during power failure and provides reliable vibration and visual alerts with alert latching and debounce functionality.
