Abstract: An absorbent article for pets according to one embodiment is worn by being wrapped around the waist of a pet. The absorbent article for pets comprises: a body portion that has a laterally elongate shape having a longer direction and a shorter direction, and has a first portion located on one side in the longer direction with respect to the center line of the body portion in the longer direction and a second portion located on the other side in the longer direction with respect to the center line of the body portion in the longer direction; and an engagement portion that is provided on the first portion of the body portion, and engages the first portion and the second portion with each other. The body portion includes a top sheet disposed on the skin side, a back sheet disposed on the non-skin side, an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and one or more elastic members stretchable in the longer direction or the shorter direction. The elastic members overlap the absorbent body when viewed in the thickness direction of the body portion.
