Abstract: A method is provided that includes receiving a configuration of at least one semipersistent (SP) chai:mel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource set including SP CSI-RS resources for multiple candidate cells. The method includes receiving a control message, a Ll/L2 control message, that identifies the at least one SP CSI-RS resource set, and indicates whether at least one of the SP CSI-RS resources of the at least one SP CSI-RS resource set is activated or deactivated for at least one of the multiple candidate cells. And the method includes performing at least one measurement on at least one of the SP CSI-RS resources of the at least one SP CSI- RS resource set indicated in the control message as activated, or stopping measurement on the at least one of the SP CSI-RS resources indicated as deactivated in the control message.
