Abstract: An adaptable protective device for mechanical purposes, comprising a bi-directional extendable frame 101 associated with the device having a first and second portion 103, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 for capturing multiple images of surroundings to determine position of the welding torch, first portion 102 to position a clamping unit 105 in proximity to the welding torch to grip the welding torch, tactile sensor for detecting hardness of the welding torch, suction units 106 accommodate the frame 101 over the welding torch , second portion 103 of frame 101 for positioning a ring-shaped member 107 in front of the user’s face portion and a circular glass sheet for providing a protective shield from sparks/ flame produced during welding.
