MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511008013 A) filed by Sanskriti University on January 30, 2025, for Adaptable Toe Misalignment Correction Device.

Inventors include Edal Singh; and Naresh Kumar.

Abstract: An adaptable toe misalignment correction device, comprising of an L-shaped wearable component 101 developed to be worn by user at ankle, an inflatable layer 102 fabricated on component to get inflated for comfortably accommodating user’s ankle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit embedded in component for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of component, a circular motorized sliding unit 103 integrated on top periphery of component to translate cylindrical member 104 mounted on sliding unit 103 over misaligned toe, an expandable pulley 201 arrangement integrated in member to expand/contract as per dimensions of misaligned toe to get jacketed over user’s toe, a motorized dual axis slider 202 is arranged on inner periphery of member to translate an extendable pusher 203 integrated on slider, a pressure sensor integrated on pusher 203 for monitoring pressure applied by pusher 203 on user’s toe.
