Abstract: Climate change threatens global crop productivity, demanding rapid adaptation of variety selection to shifting agroclimatic conditions. Existing genomic prediction and crop recommendation systems operate as disconnected analytical pipelines lacking integration of real-time climate projections with genome-wide marker data. The present invention discloses an adaptive recommendation engine coupling multi-locus genomic features including genomic estimated breeding values and haplotype-block summaries with environmental covariates comprising thermal stress indices, hydrological indices, and soil parameters within a stacked ensemble machine learning architecture. The ensemble combines gradient boosting, random forest, and deep neural network base learners through an elastic net meta-learner, achieving prediction accuracies of zero point eighty-two for wheat and zero point seventy-nine for rice across diverse multi-environment trial datasets. The engine dynamically updates variety rankings as new climate forecasts become available, demonstrated through scenario analysis under baseline, moderate, and severe warming conditions.
