Abstract: ABSTRACT ADAPTIVE LOAD BALANCING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC TASK SCHEDULING IN CLOUD COMPUTING ENVIRONMENTS The present invention discloses an adaptive load balancing system (100) and method for dynamic task scheduling in cloud computing environments. The system (100) comprises a datacentre module (110), host machines (120), virtual machines (130), cloudlets (140), a cloudlet generation module (160), a broker module (170), and an adaptive load balancer module (150) having a load register (152) and a minimum load selector (154). The adaptive load balancer module (150) dynamically monitors real-time cumulative load of each virtual machine (130) and allocates each incoming cloudlet (140) to the virtual machine (130) with the current minimum load, updating the load register (152) after each allocation. This ensures balanced workload distribution, preventing overloading or underutilization. Experimental validation demonstrates approximately fifty percent reduction in execution time compared to Round Robin and thirty-three percent compared to Throttled algorithms, with statistical significance confirmed through T-test validation.
