Abstract: The titled invention discloses an adaptive motor-assisted battery thermal management system with electromagnetic clutch control for electric vehicles. The system comprises a temperature monitoring unit (1), a controller unit (2), an electromagnetic clutch (3), a traction motor (4), a mechanical coolant pump (5), an electric backup coolant pump 1.0 (6), a battery cooling channel (7), a radiator unit (8), a battery pack (9), and a power supply unit (10). The temperature monitoring unit continuously monitors the battery temperature, and the controller unit selectively engages the electromagnetic clutch to drive the mechanical coolant pump using the traction motor whenever cooling is required. During vehicle parking or charging, the controller automatically activates the 15 electric backup coolant pump to maintain continuous coolant circulation. The invention provides adaptive battery cooling with reduced auxiliary power consumption, improved cooling efficiency, enhanced battery safety, extended battery lifespan, and increased energy efficiency for electric vehicles.
