Abstract: Abstract Adaptive Multi-Echo Ultrasonic Compensation System for Non-Destructive Concrete Strength Assessment A non-destructive concrete strength assessment system employing an adaptive multi-echo ultrasonic compensation architecture is disclosed. The system comprises an ultrasonic transmitting module, an ultrasonic receiving module, an embedded processing unit, and a digital display. Multiple reflected ultrasonic echoes are acquired and analyzed to extract signal characteristics including propagation time, attenuation, waveform energy, and signal quality. An adaptive compensation module evaluates the reliability of individual echoes, compensates signal degradation arising from environmental and material variations, and performs reliability-based multi-echo fusion to generate compensated ultrasonic features. An intelligent prediction engine estimates concrete compressive strength from the compensated feature set, determines structural health status and serviceability, and displays the results in real time. The invention improves estimation accuracy, measurement repeatability, and reliability while reducing false structural assessments under varying field conditions, thereby enabling portable, real-time, and non-destructive concrete evaluation.
