The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: An adaptive portable water purification system comprises a sensing module configured to measure water quality parameters of incoming water, wherein the water quality parameters include total dissolved solids (TDS) and turbidity. The system includes a microcontroller configured to receive sensor data from the sensing module and determine whether standard filtration or reverse osmosis (RO) purification is appropriate based on the measured water quality parameters. The system includes a multi-stage filtration assembly comprising a sediment filter, an activated carbon filter, a UV purification stage, and an RO membrane. Plurality of valvesare configured to selectively route water through the RO membrane when contamination levels exceed a threshold and to bypass the RO membrane when the contamination levels are below the threshold. One or more pumps drive water through the filtration assembly. A rechargeable battery is configured to power the system. (Fig. 1)
