Abstract: An Adaptive Predictive Self-Cleaning Handle system is disclosed for intelligent, predictive sanitization of high-touch surfaces. The system comprises a handle body, interaction sensors, a communication Interface, an integrated cleaning mechanism, and an embedded controller. The controller continuously collects real-time physical interaction data from the sensors and ingests external contextual data (such as transit timetables, facility shift rosters, event calendars, and crowd prediction metrics) via the communication interface. The controller fuses these data streams to calculate an Adaptive Hygiene Index (AHI) representing a contamination risk score. When the calculated AHI exceeds a predetermined threshold, the controller automatically activates the integrated cleaning mechanism (such as UV-C irradiation, disinfectant spraying, or mechanical wiping) to perform a preemptive sanitization cycle ahead of anticipated peak usage. When the AHI falls below a secondary threshold, the system reduces cleaning frequency or enters a low-power mode to conserve energy and consumables.
