A distraction detection engine processes the collected interaction data to generate a behavioral drift score indicative of user distraction, procrastination tendency, or cognitive disengagement. When the behavioral drift score satisfies one or more threshold conditions, an intervention module automatically initiates one or more productivity modulation actions including grayscale display activation, screen brightness reduction, notification suppression, temporary restriction of distracting applications, deep focus mode activation, and presentation of a timed cognitive reset prompt. The system may further include an adaptive learning module configured to establish a user-specific baseline engagement profile and to adjust threshold values based on historical behavior. The invention provides a privacy-conscious, real-time, and adaptive productivity enhancement framework for improving user focus and task continuity in computing environments.
