The method determines, when the first limit value is received, a second limit value, where the first limit value and the second limit value define the range of quality of service attribute values. The method determines a first quality of service configuration based on the range of quality of service attributes, where the first quality of service configuration describes a set of quality of service attribute values within the range of quality of service attribute values. The method applies the first quality of service configuration to communications with a user equipment.
