Abstract: ABSTRACT ADAPTIVE SMART SAFETY DETECTION AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE COSMETIC PEN WITH AI-BASED MULTIMODAL CONTAMINATION ANALYSIS The invention relates to portable beverage safety testing devices, and particularly to a pen-form system comprising a housing, a removable programmable sensing cartridge, a sensor tip, a microfluidic sampling pathway, a chemical reaction chamber, an ultraviolet-assisted optical sensing module, a vapor sensing pathway, a contact-based electrochemical sensing interface, a processing unit, a wireless communication unit, and a self-sterilizing subsystem. The processing unit selects a sensing mode based on cartridge identity data and executes a synchronized sampling sequence to obtain optical, vapor-phase, and electrochemical measurements from a single sample intake event. Multimodal data are temporally aligned and fused to generate a contamination probability score and a safety classification. The device may issue local and wireless alerts, trigger emergency communication, and initiate localized sterilization of the sensor tip after use, thereby enabling reusable, rapid, and discreet contamination detection for beverages.
