Abstract: “ADAPTIVE TORQUE CONTROL FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON ROUGH TERRAIN” Disclosed herein- tisim e a adreaapltive torque control system (100) for a four-wheel drive electric vehicle operating on rough terrain, comprising a vehicle chassis (102), an inertial measurement unit sensor (104) as the sole sensing input capturing a five-dimensional vehicle dynamics data vector, a data preprocessing module (106) normalizing the data using a pre-fitted serialized scaler, a processing unit (108) executing locally a feedforward neural network trained via Sequential Least Squares Programming optimization generating four independent wheel duty cycle values, a plurality of motor drivers (110), and a plurality of motors (112) each independently driving a respective wheel, wherein the system (100) proactively compensates for terrain-induced torque imbalances in a continuous closed-loop cycle, operating autonomously through neural network inference with the inertial measurement unit sensor (104) as the sole sensing input.
