The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The disclosed system provides an Adaptive Universal AI-Based Battery Management System for lithium-ion batteries in Electric Vehicles. A Sensing Unit and Coarse Impedance Measurement Module acquire voltage, current, temperature, and limited-frequency impedance data from a connected Battery Pack, from which a Signal Feature Extraction Unit derives open-circuit-voltage curve shape, incremental capacity/differential voltage peaks, and impedance-based features. A Confidence- Weighting Engine derives fusion weights from this distribution and applies them across a Multi-Model SOC Estimation Bank to produce a Fused SOC Estimator output, across a Protection Threshold Fusion Module to derive conservative fused protection limits, and across a Balancing Strategy Selection An Event Detection Module triggers re-identification upon detecting a physical event such as a battery replacement. A Digital Twin Simulation Engine runs candidate chemistry-specific models in parallel with the physical battery, and a Prediction Error Comparator feeds the divergence between simulated and measured behaviour back into the Confidence-Weighting Engine, continuously refining the fusion during operation. A Digital Twin Dashboard visualizes the resulting classification confidence, SOC, protection, and balancing behaviour.
