Abstract: Adaptive Weather–Seismic Monitoring and Multi-Tier Earthquake Alert System The present invention relates to an adaptive weather–seismic monitoring and earthquake alert system for real-time earthquake event detection and alert dissemination using distributed sensor devices. The system collects seismic sensing data from smartphones, wearable devices, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and edge sensing devices together with meteorological data for adaptive event analysis. A validation and confidence engine evaluates sensing reliability, filters noisy or false trigger data, and assigns confidence values to sensor devices. A dynamic sensor weighting module adaptively adjusts sensor influence based on sensing reliability. A spatial–temporal event detection engine performs weighted trigger aggregation and correlation processing to identify earthquake event clusters. An event confidence and parameter estimation engine determines event confidence, event magnitude, and event location. An adaptive multi-tier alert dissemination module selectively transmits alerts to public users, emergency response authorities, and critical infrastructure systems based on detected event conditions and expected impact conditions.
