Abstract: An adaptive wireless link recovery system is disclosed for identifying and recovering degradation in a wireless communication link. The system acquires a plurality of communication measurements including signal strength, signal-to-noise ratio, packet error rate, retransmission rate, latency, throughput and channel utilization. The measurements are processed over a temporal observation interval to generate a signal-degradation fingerprint representing a multi-parameter and temporal pattern of wireless-link degradation. A degradation-state identification module determines a degradation condition from the fingerprint. A dynamic communication parameter selection module selects one or more communication parameters according to the identified degradation condition. The selected parameters may include communication channel, transmission power, modulation, coding rate, data rate, bandwidth, retransmission configuration and antenna configuration. A link-recovery controller applies the selected configuration and a recovery verification module evaluates post-recovery communication performance. When recovery is insufficient, an updated fingerprint is generated and another recovery configuration is selected. Historical recovery outcomes may further be used for adaptive parameter selection.
