MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411092433 A) filed by Chandigarh Engineering College Jhanjeri on November 26, 2024, for Adjustable Four-Wheeler’s Wheel Assembling/Disassembling Device.

Abstract: An adjustable four-wheeler’s wheel assembling/disassembling device comprises of an elongated rod 101 having a handle 104 integrated at proximal end 102 accessed by a user for positioning a distal end 103 of the rod 101 in proximity to a four-wheeler’s wheel, a microphone 105 for user input regarding tightening/loosening of lugs on the wheel, an imaging unit 106 determines type of lugs integrated on the wheel, a telescopically operated arrangement integrated in the rod 101 for alignment of the wheel’s hub with a body integrated at the distal end 103, an extendable cylindrical member 107 arranged on the body for positioning end of the member 107 in proximity to the lugs, a motorized ratchet arrangement 108 integrated with the member 107 for rotating the lug via multiple gripping units 109, a planetary gear arrangement 110 installed linked with the ratchet arrangement 108 for inducing rotation in the ratchet arrangement 108.
