MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611062517 A) filed by Geeta University on May 18, 2026, for Adjustable Honeycomb Paperboard Cage With Integrated Root Moisture Pocket For Transporting Live Nursery Plants.

Ventilation openings ensure proper airflow, while the honeycomb structure provides shock absorption and vibration damping. The cage is foldable and stackable, enabling compact storage and efficient logistics. The invention offers a biodegradable, low-cost, and sustainable alternative to conventional plastic or thermocol packaging, ensuring reduced plant damage, maintained moisture levels, and improved survival rates during transportation.
