Abstract: ABSTRACT ADVANCED FAST-CHARGING LITHIUM-ION BATTERY SYSTEM WITH MULTI-COMPONENT COMPOSITE ANODE AND DUAL- ELECTRODE REDUCED GRAPHENE OXIDE. The present disclosure relates to a lithium-ion battery system. The system includes a composite anode electrode formed by dispersing at least two lithium-ion intercalation materials and at least one conductive additive within a binder matrix. The composite anode electrode is coated onto a current collector. The system further includes a cathode electrode comprising a lithium-containing transition metal oxide active material together with at least one conductive additive. The cathode electrode is also dispersed in a binder matrix and coated onto a current collector. A porous separator is positioned between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode. An electrolyte is provided in ionic communication with both electrodes. The electrolyte comprises a lithium salt dissolved in an organic solvent along with at least one film-forming additive.
