Abstract: ABSTRACT Advanced Furcation-Specific Regenerative Graft Delivery, Metering, and Condensation Instrument with Directional Placement Control System The present disclosure relates to a system and method for furcation-specific regenerative graft delivery, directional placement, metered dispensing, graft retention and controlled condensation of periodontal graft material. System Includes: a graft reservoir module; a metered dispensing module; a directional graft placement module; an anti-clogging transport lumen module; a furcation geometry adaptation module; a graft retention module; a condensation module; a processor; and a memory. The graft reservoir module stores particulate graft material and the metered dispensing module provides controlled incremental delivery via the anti-clogging transport lumen. The directional graft placement module directs the discharge of the graft selectively in the direction of a desired region of a periodontal furcation defect. The graft retention module minimizes displacement of delivered graft particles. The condensation module allows immediate adaptation and compaction of the graft material within the defect. The disclosed system allows for increased placement accuracy, reduced graft wastage, improved defect fill uniformity, improved accessibility to anatomically restricted furcation regions and increased procedural efficiency during regenerative periodontal therapy.
