A Goal Understanding Engine, a Task Decomposition Module, a Planning Agent, a Resource Coordination Layer, a Multi-agent Execution Framework, a Monitoring Engine, and an Adaptive Learning Module are all part of the invention. The system automatically creates plans for the execution of the tasks and sets them in motion, synchronizes resources in and manages distributed agents, observes performance and continually enhances operational workflow based on feedback. The invention aims at reducing human intervention, increasing efficiency of the automation system, scalability, utilization of resources, adaptability and fault tolerance of the automation system. The architecture can be adopted and used in cloud, edge and enterprise wide (IoT) architectures for various industrial and commercial applications.
