Abstract: AGRO-INDUSTRIAL WASTE-BASED SUSTAINABLE FIBROUS GEOPOLYMER CONCRETE The present invention relates to sustainable fibrous geopolymer concrete prepared using Rice Husk Ash, Sugarcane Bagasse Ash, Cow Dung Ash, and Basalt Fibres. The agro-industrial waste materials are activated using sodium hydroxide solution and sodium silicate solution to form an aluminosilicate geopolymeric binder matrix under ambient curing conditions. The composition comprises approximately 40% Rice Husk Ash, 30% Sugarcane Bagasse Ash, 30% Cow Dung Ash, and approximately 1% Basalt Fibres with sodium hydroxide solution of approximately 10M molarity and sodium silicate to sodium hydroxide ratio of approximately 2:1. The geopolymer concrete exhibits compressive strength up to approximately 38 MPa after approximately 28 days curing, water absorption below approximately 5%, and acid-induced mass loss below approximately 2%. The invention eliminates the requirement for Ordinary Portland Cement, kiln firing, and thermal curing, thereby reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable utilization of agro-industrial waste materials for construction applications.
