Abstract: This disclosure describes a deep learning enabled personalized interview coaching system for preparing interviews, assessing performance, and providing career guidance called "AI + ML Smart Interview Coach". The system uses multimodal input including text, audio, and video gathered from the candidate participating in mock interviews. A hybrid deep learning architecture using CNNs, LSTM neural networks, and transformer models is used to extract features of the speech content and non-verbal communication. It allows precise evaluation of how relevant, clear and confident responses were provided by the user. The proposed solution uses cloud computing architecture, which allows scaling the application to process data in real time with minimal computations performed on the user's side. The adaptive learning algorithms allow the system to learn from the latest interview formats, questions, and communication standards. The data about the longitudinal performance is analyzed by the adaptive career guidance component to determine which job positions are suitable for the user, his/her career paths and skill development resources. Experimentations have proven the effectiveness of the present invention in terms of providing greater accuracy, better recall, and overall robustness when compared with the traditional methods of evaluation that use only text-based techniques. With the use of multimodal evaluation, hybrid deep learning systems, cloud-based computing, and career counseling, the present invention is designed to provide a platform for proactive interviewing, preparation, and career advancement for students and new candidates.
