Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of an AI-based agent for precision agriculture system utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and machine learning algorithms for the purpose of monitoring crop health and controlling irrigation processes. The environmental sensors are used to collect real-time data on soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and solar radiation, whereas machine learning algorithms process this information in order to forecast potential crop stress and possible diseases. The AI agent determines crops’ water needs and starts the automatic irrigation processes without human interference, making sure that the optimal moisture is ensured while saving water. The system proved to be effective and efficient when it comes to irrigation and prediction of crops yield in field tests. FIG.1
