Abstract: [052] The present invention relates to an AI-assisted IoT framework for automated agricultural irrigation and crop health monitoring. The framework includes soil parameter sensors, environmental sensors, crop image acquisition devices, an edge processing unit, an artificial intelligence inference module, a communication layer, a cloud analytics platform, and an actuator control layer. The framework collects zone-wise field data including soil moisture, temperature, weather condition, crop images, and irrigation feedback data. The artificial intelligence inference module determines irrigation requirement and crop health status by analysing sensor data, image-derived crop stress indicators, crop type, growth stage, historical irrigation records, and water delivery feedback. The edge processing unit generates control instructions for operating pumps, valves, drip systems, sprinklers, or fertigation units. Feedback sensors verify actual water delivery and detect leakage, blockage, pressure drop, or actuator malfunction. The framework supports local decision-making during network unavailability and provides farmer-facing alerts through a user interface. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2]
