Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for the development of an artificial intelligence-enabled modular handheld health screening device configured for non- invasive oral and external anatomical health assessment. The device comprises a base processing unit and interchangeable imaging modules including an intraoral imaging module and an external multi-region imaging module. A module recognition interface automatically identifies the attached imaging module and activates a corresponding region-specific artificial intelligence model. Each imaging module incorporates adaptive illumination and optical configurations optimized for respective anatomical regions. The intraoral imaging module facilitates early detection of dental caries, enamel demineralization, plaque accumulation, tartar formation, and gingival inflammation, while the external imaging module performs surface-level assessment of facial, lingual, perioral, and periorbital regions. A progressive risk assessment engine compares current screening results with historical records to identify disease progression and generate preventive health indicators. Processed results are wirelessly transmitted to a companion mobile application for visualization, trend monitoring, and personalized risk evaluation. The modular architecture enables scalable integration of additional imaging modules while maintaining a unified processing framework suitable for home-based preventive healthcare screening. FIG.1
