Abstract: An AI-based adaptive data compression and storage optimization system for large-scale cloud data centers is disclosed. The system comprises a data ingestion interface (110), telemetry and feature extraction module (111), entropy analyzer (112), AI compression policy engine (113), compression executor (114), storage-tier orchestration controller (115), predictive workload analyzer (116), reinforcement feedback optimizer (117), metadata registry (118), and cross-tier migration manager (119). The invention dynamically selects compression algorithms and storage tiers based on workload characteristics and entropy metrics. Reinforcement learning continuously refines compression policies using runtime feedback. The system reduces storage footprint, optimizes latency, improves energy efficiency, and enables predictive multi-tier placement in hyperscale cloud environments.
