Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-based assistive system and method for real-time navigation and object recognition for visually impaired users. The system (100) comprises a visual acquisition module (101) configured to capture environmental data, an AI-based perception engine (102) employing deep learning models including a convolutional neural network (102A) for detecting and classifying objects, and a depth estimation and spatial analysis unit (103) for determining object distance and positioning. A context- aware decision-making engine (106) processes the data to generate navigation instructions and safety alerts. A speech processing module (104, 105) enables voice interaction, and an audio navigation system (107) provides real-time feedback. A processing unit (109) executes the system with low latency. The invention enhances safety, situational awareness, and independent mobility for visually impaired users. Accompanied Drawings [Fig. 1-4]
