Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-based autonomous crowd detection and surveillance drone system (100) configured for real-time aerial monitoring and intelligent crowd analysis. The system (100) comprises a multi-rotor aerial platform (110), a stabilised imaging assembly (120), a custom flight control and inertial stabilisation unit (130), an onboard edge-computing and artificial intelligence inference module (140), a wireless telemetry and communication subsystem (150), a ground-based command station (160), and an integrated power management architecture (170). The artificial intelligence inference module (140) processes aerial video streams using deep-learning-based crowd detection algorithms for crowd counting, density estimation, anomaly detection, and alert generation. The flight control unit (130) cooperatively interacts with the artificial intelligence inference module (140) for adaptive autonomous surveillance operations.
