Abstract: An AI-Based Crop Disease Prediction and Monitoring System which facilitates non-invasive, proactive detection of crop diseases by utilizing a blend of Artificial Intelligence (AI), multispectral imaging, GPS, IoT technologies, and vegetation indices is described herein. The system comprises continuously acquiring multispectral images of crop fields from visual, red-edge, and near-infrared bands, predicting plant stress associated with crop diseases using AI spectral data analysis and further classifying and estimating disease severity level, resulting in accurate and trustworthy plant stress predictions for proactive and precise crop monitoring prior to the manifestation of symptoms. The proposed invention further enables field mapping utilizing GPS to determine locations of crop fields afflicted with diseases and employ IoT data communication mechanisms to deliver real-time disease alerts and comprehensive reports of field health to farmers and agricultural stakeholders. Additionally, the invention incorporates a predictive disease module that utilizes the previously obtained field data to forecast the progression of disease and to guide farmers on prompt remedial actions, thus offering an intelligent, efficient, and scalable crop monitoring framework for improving yields, optimizing pesticide usage and field scouting efficiency, and facilitating predictive agricultural management practices.
