Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based evidence inconsistency detection and forensic authentication system. The system comprises a forensic evidence workstation, document imaging unit, evidence ingestion module, cryptographic integrity verification module, natural language processing engine, witness inconsistency detection engine, forensic document authentication engine, multi- database evidence correlation engine, and examiner review interface. The evidence ingestion module receives witness statements, scanned documents, forensic reports, transcripts, images, and structured case records and assigns unique evidence identifiers. The natural language processing engine extracts persons, dates, locations, objects, actions, and event sequences from textual evidence. The witness inconsistency detection engine compares extracted event frames and generates an inconsistency matrix. The forensic document authentication engine analyses visual, layout, text, signature, seal, and metadata features to generate an authenticity risk score. The evidence correlation engine cross-references extracted evidence vectors with authorized case databases. The integrity module stores cryptographic hash values for tamper-evident evidence processing. (Accompanied Figure No. 1-5)
