Abstract: ABSTRACT AI based Face Recognition Attendance System The present disclosure relates to an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Face Recognition Attendance System configured to automate attendance management through biometric facial identification. The system comprises an image acquisition module, a face detection module, a facial feature extraction engine, a face recognition module, an attendance authentication module, and a database management module. Facial images of individuals are captured through a camera and processed using computer vision and machine learning techniques to detect and identify authorized users based on stored facial templates. The system extracts unique facial characteristics and generates facial feature embeddings that are compared with pre-enrolled facial data stored in a database. Upon successful identity verification, the attendance authentication module automatically records attendance information including user identity, date, time, and attendance status. The system is further configured to prevent duplicate attendance entries and minimize fraudulent practices such as proxy attendance, thereby improving the accuracy and reliability of attendance monitoring. The disclosed system provides a contactless, secure, and efficient attendance management solution suitable for educational institutions, corporate organizations, industrial facilities, and other environments requiring automated attendance tracking. The system may further support cloud-based storage, remote monitoring, attendance report generation, and anti-spoofing mechanisms for enhanced security and scalability. The invention reduces manual effort, improves operational efficiency, and enables real-time attendance recording and management.
